Rebuilding Function and Confidence After Advanced Periodontal Damage
The patient arrived with severely compromised teeth — advanced periodontal disease, heavy discoloration, failing old restorations, and inflamed gums that had eroded his ability to chew and smile with confidence.
The Challenge
The patient's oral health had deteriorated significantly due to advanced periodontal disease. His teeth showed severe discoloration, heavy tartar deposits, failing restorations including a visible metal-ceramic crown, and widespread gum inflammation. Multiple teeth were structurally compromised, and the overall condition affected both function and appearance dramatically.
Our Approach
We implemented a phased treatment plan beginning with intensive periodontal therapy to halt disease progression and restore gum health. After stabilization, we removed all failing restorations and performed necessary endodontic treatments. The final phase involved a comprehensive ceramic rehabilitation with custom-designed crowns to rebuild proper occlusion, restore natural tooth proportions, and achieve a clean, unified aesthetic.
Before & After
Results are unique to this patient and may vary based on individual clinical health and treatment plan.
Outcome
The transformation restored both health and dignity to the patient's smile. Where there was once inflammation and decay, there is now a stable, natural-looking set of ceramic restorations. The patient regained full chewing function and the confidence to smile openly — a result that goes far beyond cosmetics to genuine quality-of-life improvement.
